I was in Altspace every day. Since microsoft shut it down I havent found anything in VR to replace that community. I honestly rarely use my VR headset any more. Cant wait to see what the new iteration is.

One thing I miss most is the wide range of member driven events. Movie nights, Salon discussions, ESL and other language meet ups, comedy and open mike nights, game shows, oh and the weekly AltSpace news, professional conferences, classes, and so much more. And it all starts with the campfire(or community landing area)

how long will it take! before there is a new altspacevr app? and will there be a desktop version too

I am in VR daily 3-5 pm Eastern US time in Vegas Infinite (look for the table named VR_Believer).

Working on both an XR space battle territory capture game like 3D Go and the Rendezvous service that brings strangers together and connects them in richer ways than just friends.
